Kornblatt's Delicatessen Description:
Just a few delis in Portland offer a truly East Coast nosh. Kornblatt's is one of them, delivering chopped liver, blintzes, kugel, cabbage borscht and other authentic kosher fare including a pot roast served with latkes. Breakfasts are huge, and the bagels come in flavors you never knew existed. Lunches are satisfying as well; the Reuben sandwich is topnotch. Alas, although Kornblatt's is no longer the last word in Portland delis, its quality seems to have slipped a notch in recent years.
