While cocktail lounges are not always the most pleasant places to sit for dinner, Jo Bar's comfortable chairs, shiny central bar, and wide marble counter all conspire to make you linger. And why not? The bartenders concoct some of the best drinks in town, and the service is always precise. Along with a good range of standards, there are occasional bursts of inspiration from the kitchen such as sea bass in a lemon grass ginger sauce or wood oven chili with beef, bacon and pinto beans.
