Eat now, dine later is the motto at fun-loving chef Fred Eric's avant-garde, open-all-night coffee shop on trendy Vermont Avenue. Expect to see everyone from multi-pierced clubbers to Hollywood starlets stopping in at 4 a.m. for bowls of udon, Fred's signature corn-flake-crusted french toast ("Bearded Mr. Frenchy") or legendary pancakes. The whimsical pun-filled menu offers lots of sandwiches, from po' boys to tuna melts, and we must add that Fred makes a mean juicy burger (hence its name, "Juicy Lucy").
