The first interaction one might have with this stylish, progressive American tapas bar is not the host, the wooden floors or the exposed brick walls. Instead, the mostly walk-in business translates into a line of exuberant clientele milling outside the front door in the Ohio City neighborhood. Once inside, the room's warm earth tones give way to a mixed crowd enjoying small dishes. Start with the utterly addictive, bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with almonds and Valdeón cheese. Crispy fingerling potatoes arrive next in an aromatic garlic aïoli, followed by an evolving menu of salads, pizzas and entrées like grilled Ohio rib-eye with cauliflower casserole and potato gratin. The nightly chef's tasting menu highlights the choicest ingredients of the day, making it an ideal way to experience Light's kitchen prowess.
