Touch Supper Club Description:
With an out-of-the-way locale and a less than welcoming façade, Touch has to work twice as hard as its counterparts on West 25th to draw business. Once inside, however, this supper club will sweep you off your feet. A long, lighted bar runs along the left side while urban and industrial art hangs on the walls. Swanky lighting, comfy chairs and a welcoming staff round out the space. Touch offers dining upstairs and entertainment on the lower level, typically starting late in the evening. The menu, crafted by veteran Cleveland chef Jeff Fisher, is fresh and full of flavor. To start, try the warm mushroom salad where crisp lettuce cups mingle with warm sliced mushrooms, plump sun-dried cranberries and goat cheese in a creamy Parmesan dressing. For your entrée, go with the Christmas Ale short ribs or the grilled cheese, the latter of which is big enough to feed two. For a messy treat, go straight for the burger. Topped with salty ham, aïoli and a runny fried egg, it explodes on contact. The wine list at Touch is decent, and there are a good number of beers to be had. During happy hour on Friday, Touch attracts patrons with free sushi.
