Guarino's Description:
Guarino's was established in 1918 by one of Little Italy's founding families. Today, it remains the oldest Italian restaurant in the city. More impressively, for all these years, this cozy little restaurant on the hill remains owned and operated by the same family. The menu here is traditionally Sicilian. Try the lasagna and the gnocchi, both of which are drenched in the family's well-known (and beloved) sauce. There is a nice variety of desserts, too, including a generous serving of authentic spumoni, and light tiramisu.
