This Santa Barbara establishment is known for its trendy yet comfortable vibe, outdoor cigar lounge and plenty of premium tequila. The elegantly styled two-story room is well suited to romantic dinners. Cuddle up in a cozy booth or on the overstuffed couch in front of the fireplace. All the meats are natural and free-range and the seafood is wild and fresh; from the beginning, Blue Agave has subscribed to the Slow Food movement. Plates include the penne pasta Alfredo, chicken mole enchiladas and Ligurian fish stew. The kitchen proudly uses organic ingredients in many of the dishes, including the dense chocolate cake with crème anglaise. Get it à la mode for a real treat.
