The Crooked Kilt Pub and Grill Description:
A casual pub and grill open for lunch and dinner daily. The atmosphere is open and typical of a traditional pub. The American fare is inexpensive and casual.
This Irish- and Scottish-themed pub and grill offers a menu that features everything from salads to burgers to traditional Irish fare. Among our favorites are the corned beef piled high on grilled rye with Dijon and provolone cheese, and the Ma Beckett's grilled cheese and tomato soup combo. For the Irish-inclined, there's also a sandwich overflowing with flatiron steak dressed in a Guinness barbecue sauce, shepherd's pie, and fish 'n' chips made with a Harp beer batter. Salads such as the grilled chicken Caesar are a good bet here too; they may seem a bit pricey, but come in portions hearty enough to share. Besides the expected Guinness and Harp on tap, you'll also find Firestone Walker Double Barrel Ale that's made in Paso Robles, and the full bar offers Irish and single-malt Scotch whiskeys and a nice selection of Paso Robles wines. Check out the weekday happy hour, with $3, 20-ounce drafts and specially priced appetizers. Tuesday nights typically offer the rockin' Celtic sounds of the Seamus Conroy Band, and The Kilt---as it's called by locals---has a weekend Bloody Mary bar as well.
