Fonz's Restaurant Description:
Mike Dodd, Olympic silver medalist in beach volleyball at the 1996 Olympics, founded the restaurant in 1997 and named it for his father. Dodd's volleyball memorabilia permeates the friendly bar and comfortable, booth-lined dining room. Partner Dan Boehle has owned Fonz's since 2005, and he maintains an American menu under chef Isaias Nunez. Highlights from Nunez's steak- and seafood-heavy menu include a blue cheese-and-herb-crusted New York steak, a swordfish tostada, and a double-cut Australian rack of lamb marinated in soy-Dijon sauce. Desserts include a blueberry crumble and chocolate lava cake.
