Yogurt Heaven Description:
Yogurt Heaven doesn't only serve yogurt---there is a varied selection of Lappert's ice creams available. But swirls of frozen yogurt are the draw. Choose from six ever-changing flavors ranging from Ghirardelli chocolate to raspberry. Choices come non-fat, low-fat or sugar-free, and topped with any of a dozen or so toppings. Flavors are sweet rather than tart. The shop pumps out the airy stuff with gusto (cups or cones are generous), but environmentalists will object to the Styrofoam. Sorry the waffle cones aren't homemade, but they're crunchy and fresh just the same. Once served, we recommend escaping to one of the outdoor benches to avoid further temptation, especially from the take-home tubs of creamy Lappert's ice creams. The place packs a mean rocky road, and whips up wicked ice cream sundaes, smoothies and shakes.
