At this locals' favorite spot, try chef Jon Magnusson's specialty---house-made, cold-smoked salmon---by itself or served in an open-face quesadilla. Or savor mushroom "cappuccino" served in a coffee cup with a dollop of foamy crème fraîche. Euro-influenced specials such as duck Chambord or hearty beef stroganoff work well here, especially on cold, foggy days. Unusual desserts include marzipan rolled around vanilla ice cream.
