Dubh Linn Gate Description:
The whole family will enjoy a wealth of good cheer, fine "slow-pour" draughts, and heaping mounds of finely prepared pub fare in this transplanted bit of olde Ireland. The pub's entire interior, including the unfinished-wood floors and lots of stained glass, was built back in the old country and imported to its prime base-of-the-mountain location. The patio is smack at the bottom of the slopes, so skiers can unsnap and unwind. Inside, the menu offers generous portions of Guinness and crab bisque, steak-and-ale pie, "fat of the land" Irish stew, and ale-battered cod-and-chips, along with live Celtic music each evening to serenade the après-skiers.
