Euro Bistro Description:
How one wants a little place like this to succeed, where chef-owner Raimund Stieger takes his time to construct an offbeat menu. But the menu might well be too far out, for it combines classic Austro-Hungarian dishes with a couple of Thai transplants, and the effect is a bit confusing. Much better is the wienerschnitzel, properly breaded and lightly fried, than the rather bland and unmemorable rice noodles with curry, which promises fire and delivers ice. The classic desserts include a nice crème brûlée and a rich chocolate mousse cake with a grainy texture. Despite our misgivings, we would certainly return, but stick to the European fare. It’s obviously a favorite with locals, who pack in during main meal hours.
