Review :
Being new to Vancouver, I found myself looking for a Thai place my third day arriving and walking past Simply Thai. I looked at their lunch offerings and saw that they had a Pad Thai special. For basically $11 with tip and tax, I had one of the best Pad Thai's ever... granted I am not from the Canadian-Asian city, but Toronto also had a lot to offer, so I cannot imagine that I am completely off base.

I do not know about their dinner menu though, but the food was definitely scrumptious. The atmosphere was quaint, and the service was good.

When I go to a Thai restaurant, I always have to try their Pad Thai because that's how you know whether they are authentic and good or not. Simply Thai didn't disappoint me! Their chicken Pad Thai is one of the best I've ever had! If you go for lunch, they even include sping roll with it! Great value! The place is not big though so you might want to make reservations before you go. It can be quite crowded sometimes. Definitely a must try if you are in Yaletown Vancouver.

Ordered the Pad Thai for lunch during my work day. It took a little longer than expected to be prepared, but overall it was pretty tasty. The portion was also quite huge for the price, and I was unable to finish it - which is always a good thing.

I would recommend Simply Thai to people in the downtown area who like a LOT of good food for a good price!

The restaurant it self is very cozy and they always have an extra touch with beautiful flower arrangements on the tables. The food is pretty good and they will make it as spicy as you like. The Thai Pad is very good and a huge portion. The vegetarian menu is very good also just a bit smaller in portions. All and all I will defiantly go back.

Well today for lunch I had the Gai Pad Khing. Great thai chicken dish no doubt, but I have one bone to pick. On their website it says the following under lunch menu " All dishes come with rice (Except L1, L9, L10)and Simply Thai Springroll. " My dish was L2 and it didn't come with any rice or the Simply Thai Springroll. So if you are ordering takeout, be sure to check you got the extra goods.

company had a lunch meeting today ... we ordered thai from Simply Thai ... it was good ... very good value too ... one thing i like about their food is that it's not too salty ... a lot of asian places put lots of salt ... this one doesn't ... which is good !!

Review :
I went here for lunch the other day and had a great meal. The food has always been outstanding but service has sometimes been an issue . Violet flower dumplings were fantastic, satays had a very distinctive yellow colour and were grilled perfectly. Followed by hot and sour soup . pad thai, garlic pork and som tum salad. Overall it looks like they have made some staffing changes and are trying to correct service issues so give it an other try.
