I have heard a lot about this place but never tried it after having lived in Vancouver for 5 years, and working 3 blocks away. Last night I did, and now I am kicking myself. Rodney's is a lot of fun, and although having a limited drink and food menu, has exceptional food. My wife had the potato encrusted halibut and I had the seared tuna, with a bunch of oysters and mussels to start... excellent.... Only drawback was that I had to go elsewhere after for a Martini (which I was craving) since they didn't serve anything other than red and white wine, beer and ceaser's.

If you are into seafood, and particularly OYSTER's, this is by far the best place in Vancouver to get them... better than the fabled Shore Club too!
The seafood is excellent, both in quality and in variety. I recommend trying the low-tide special which is available from 3-6pm everyday. I especially like the drinks they offer, and the service is the best in the west!
