Bella's Italian Cafe Description:
Located in the trendy South Tampa corner of the city, where bistros come and go, Bella's seems to have staying power. The house pastas are an option but don't overlook the lasagna con pollo (sheets of freshly made pasta with grilled chicken, spinach, portobello, porcini and butter mushrooms, mozzarella, ricotta and Asiago cheeses, served with a roasted tomato cream sauce); or the Pollo Rosso (blackened chicken tossed with fettuccine in a roasted tomato sauce with mushroom and scallions). Sliced eggplant stuffed with prosciutto, smoked mozzarella and risotto, rolled, baked and topped with red sauce is also an option. Innovative desserts include the chocolate toffee tart.
