Cypress: A Lowcountry Grille Description:
Cypress has long been one of our favorite places to have a drink and an appetizer. The bar combines space-age contemporary elements with a '50s supper club atmosphere and creates a striking effect, largely due to a beautiful view of the state-of-the-art kitchen and wall of wine that shows off the 4,000-bottle selection. The Asian-accented appetizers stand in graceful contrast to the raw bar, tableside service for rack of lamb, Châteaubriand and Caesar salad. A well-chosen selection of fish and shellfish rounds out the menu. The silky lobster bisque and the beef bourguignon are luxurious standouts.
