Umbrellas, bags, and parcels are prohibited in the museum galleries, with the exception of purses that are smaller than 11" x 15".

Smoking in the museum is prohibited.

Food, beverages and pens are not allowed in the galleries.

Photgraphy is not allowed in the galleries.

The Museum Cafe provides an artful selection of food, in addition to the regular menu of hot and cold entrees, salads, soups, desserts, and espresso. Order at the counter, food served at your table.

Beer, wine and mixed drinks at the cafe. No beverages
allowed in the exhibiton.



Driving direction to Seattle Art Museum:
SAM is located on 1st Avenue between University and Union Street.

From I-5 north:

Take the Seneca Street exit.
Turn left on Seneca and follow to 1st Avenue.
Turn right on 1st Avenue, museum is located on the right.

From I-5 south:

Take the Union Street exit.
Turn right on Union and follow to 1st Avenue.
Turn left on 1st Avenue, the museum is located on the left.
