Shea's Lounge Description:
This sexy little lounge and bistro, adjacent to and sharing a kitchen with the ultra-romantic, spendy Chez Shea, has its own menu and a more casual ambiance. The laid-back Shea's Lounge offers a tantalizing three-course seasonal menu for $15 at lunchtime, plus a selection of market fresh salads and sandwiches. Dinner means topnotch bistro cuisine just like Chez Shea, and includes small plates such as a warm artichoke gratin, steamed mussels, or pork and Gorgonzola pâté. Spring favorites are the filet of beef tenderloin and the salmon with spring onion risotto and chèvre. For dessert, choose from crème brûlée, crème fraîche cake with rhubarb compote, or a luscious lemon Napoleon, crisp layers of honeyed phyllo with lemon curd cream, huckleberry coulis and honey cream. The Lounge's wine list is an abridged version of Chez Shea's mostly Northwestern offerings, but go ahead and request to peruse the wider selection.
