Circa Description:
Renowned designer Michael Brennan created a beautiful space that easily flows from the main dining area to the bar. Beautiful, oversize black and white photographs of flowers float on backlit screens and glass beads drip from the ceiling, catching light and reflecting off the warm hues of browns and grays on the walls. Comforting bites such as lobster corn dogs---a fun riff on a carnival classic---and mini Angus beef tacos speak to this Marina restaurant's party atmosphere. Much of the inventive, original menu under Erik Hopfinger (who has departed) has lately been abandoned to make way for more straight-ahead options such as fried chicken or the half-pound Black Angus burger. Brunch is definitely the meal of the day at this hot-spot, bringing in singles by the dozens who are working off a hangover from the night before or working toward another one with the restaurant's bottomless mimosas special.
