Hama-Ko Description:
This tiny restaurant turns out some of the best sushi in the city. Chef-owner Ted Kashiyama does his shopping daily and has excellent sources for fish and shellfish such as giant clams. You can either order from the menu or call ahead and ask that Kashiyama prepare a special meal, often a series of hot and cold courses. The service is gracious and welcoming. One is never made to feel rushed even when the space is filled.
