Pad thai, galanga, tom yan gung soups and other classics here receive simple and artful treatment, drawing neighborhood clubbers and locals to this sweet little SoMa spot for more than twenty years. Spicier dishes include pong pang, a seemingly bottomless clay pot of seafood cloaked in a hot chili sauce. Prices (especially for combination plates) are better than reasonable, which explains the location's brisk lunch business; reservations are only accepted for parties of four or more.
