Yoshino's Description:
Old-fashioned Japanese food, by California standards, is what Yoshino's does best. Kimono-clad waitresses serve hot Jasmine tea and miso soup. We like to drop in for a plate of hot tempura or a few yakitori skewers before making our way up the hill into Hillcrest for a night on the town. Sushi is available, but it's not the real draw. For larger entrées, fish and tofu dishes are our favorites. Expect a crowd on weekends---with prices like these, it's well worth it.
