Clayton's lunch spots swarm during the day, but Remy's attracts evening traffic as well, thanks to its relaxed Mediterranean dining and comprehensive wine list. The crowd varies from late-working lawyers to hoi polloi en route to the theater and post-movie dating couples. Remy's holds to the small-plate/large-plate format, encouraging nibbling and cross-forking. (Saucers at set atop tables for divvying up treats like an endive, walnut and fig salad---a ping-pong of tastes---or mussels with chorizo and garbanzo beans.) Lunchers should look for the three-plate Mediterranean grazing menu, with items like red curry chicken salad or stuffed grape leaves; there's also a good four-cheese sandwich on flatbread.
