Lu Lu Seafood Restaurant Description:
The dim sum weekend brunch is noisy and colorful and so much fun that a weekday meal at LuLu feels quite calm by comparison, even though dim sum is offered every day until 3 p.m. After that, customers must order from the dinner menu (do check out the bilingual signs in the foyer, which announce the day's specials). Elaborately carved chairs and sparkly light fixtures mark the décor, which is furthered by a refrigerator case of food for take-out. Seafood reigns, especially in the soups, and the kitchen has a deft hand when it comes to dishes like crab stir-fried with green onions. The menu has old favorites for conservative diners, including Peking duck, but the adventurous eater will be wooed by mutton with onion and "Chinese bacon" casserole, pork belly with bamboo shoots. Service is pleasant.
