Greenwood's on Green Street Description:
Owner Bill Greenwood draws big crowds to this small former residence with his fried chicken, crayfish cakes (when crayfish is available), shrimp with grits and good soups. The menu is translated into seven languages. No translation is needed when it comes to the deep-dish fruit pies, but in our view they don't taste as good as they look. The wine list is limited. Note that Greenwood's doesn't take credit cards, but it will accept a check. Somehow, Greenwood has found time for Swallow at the Hollow, his casual barbecue place across the street.
