Ceviche House Restaurant Description:
Here's a Peruvian restaurant celebrating ceviche with seven different variations on the theme, and as it turns out, seafood (cooked by the action of lime or lemon juice marinade) is not the only primary ingredient. Figure on finding the likes of a mango ceviche, avowedly a typical Peruvian dish, as well as a mixed seafood ceviche with everything from octopus to scallops plus the ever-present sweet potato and a measure of corn-on-the-cob. But if ceviche is not your fancy, the menu is filled with Peruvian dishes like choros a la chalaca and tacu tacu con bistek apanado, and the list goes on. We found that two orders of different ceviche, the national staple, chupe (a very filling seafood and corn soup), and the chicharon con yuca (deep-fried cubes of pork), were more than ample. Note: portions are immense.
