Bill's Barbecue Description:
The last word in casual diner-style food, Bill's is noted for its minced or sliced barbecue, but don't come here hankering for ribs. As the counter person explained, Bill's doesn't serve them. Otherwise, expect to find Southern-inspired dishes, even at breakfast when you may order up some country ham and eggs. Bill's offers specialty sandwiches, but we'd bet most people stop in for barbecue on a bun with some hot sauce alongside. Sides include baked beans, cinnamon apples, fries and onion rings. Pies are noteworthy; we recommend the banana pie, creamy and studded with banana slices. The limeade is well known, too. Bill's has other area locations (some open on weekends).
