Café Zesty Description:
Zesty's offers a vast selection of mostly Greek dishes---inspired by owner Athanassios "Tom" Konidaris' homeland---with a smattering of Italian pastas from which to choose. There's a gleaming all-copper bar at the entrance, and the dining room is covered with paintings and plants. Have the assorted appetizers or grilled squid or octopus, or something different such as fried smelts with olive oil. If you don't want a combination of moussaka, pastitsio and spanakopita for an entrée, you can always go with grilled fish or one of the pasta dishes. The chef uses apple wood in the grill, and it imparts a delicate flavor to the seafood and meats. Baklava is one of the best of the homemade desserts. Check out the Greek wines on the list.
