Bon Description:
Remodeled by Philippe Stark, Bon welcomes guests with a long corridor that leads to the main dining hall. A smoking room, equipped with transparent doors, is embellished with glistening chandeliers, intimate alcoves and an impressive library. The true novelty of this restaurant is derived from its menu, influenced by the Far East. Current chef Bruno Brangea offers diners menu items like crab soup, an assortment of shrimp ravioli dusted with basil and chili, artichoke crabs and five-flavor duck. The duck foie gras is lacquered and served with crispy rice and the red snapper is enveloped in a banana-tree leaf, while the beef tartare is prepared with mint, coriander and basil. The wine list is very interesting too. You can pursue your dinner with a Chinese wine, Chine Pekin Ch. Bolongbao Bio 2003 Tang Wei Xing. True to its name, Bon is certainly "bon".
