Cabin Restaurant Description:
Housed in an 1850s log cabin, this restaurant is an elegant spot for a romantic night out. Chef Michael Herschman turns out pizzas topped with wild mushrooms, pecorino, truffle oil and grapes from a wood-burning oven, alongside butter-poached lobster and garlic. For starters, try the lobster bisque, the bruschetta with roasted peppers, Gorgonzola, fire-roasted tomatoes and Parmesan or the chef's signature sweet-spicy calamari. While beef, lamb and chicken dishes are well represented among main courses, the pizzas and house-made pastas---paired with smoked salmon, grilled chicken, and shrimp or lobster---are the stars. Sides include mushroom risotto, roasted asparagus and Gorgonzola creamed spinach. Chase the decadent tiramisu with a cup of robust espresso.
