Indian Taj Description:
Many people go in for the economical buffet (weekdays 6.50 lunch/6.95 for dinner, weekends and holidays 7.50 lunch/7.95 dinner). The carpet and fixtures are worn and the seating is crowded, giving the place a cheap eats diner atmosphere.
This draws attention away from the menu which is fairly extensive. There are vegetarian entrees like malai kofta (soft Indian cheese with potato in a spicy creamy sauce) or kadi pakora (garam bean batter dipped and fried vegetables in spicy sauce) in addition to well known favorites. The breads (a variety of parathas and nans) and lamb and goat entrees are notable as well.
