Set in the wildly diverse Jackson Heights, this nine-table Thai eatery serves up classic and adventurous dishes. The menu is divided into curries, rice dishes, noodle bowls and entrées. The tart-like curry puffs are underwhelming but the chicken liver shish kebabs are ultra-tender. Peanut curry is a savory curry-infused peanut sauce over slightly crispy tofu, and stir-fried pork with garlic sauce is emboldened with bits of basil. If you're in the mood for something lighter, the salads---including grilled shrimp mixed with onion, chili powder, and lime juice; long beans mixed with dried shrimp, tomato, chili, garlic and lime; and the simple bamboo shoot with onion, chili and spicy herbs---are sure to please. The offerings are affordable, made even more so by the BYOB policy.
