JC & Family Restaurant & Pizzaria Description:
Small pizza diner type dining area with five to six tables. Formerly known as El Guaton.
There is the pizza side of the menu which includes rolls. There is a breakfast menu with complete meals of eggs, home fries, coffee and toast that begin at only $2.00. Then there is the Chilean side of the menu inherited from El Guaton. Featured items include Chilean sandwichesand hot dogs. The breads for the sandwiches (pan amasado, a large soft roll) are baked at the restaurant. The sandwich fillings may be pork, chicken or beef. While you can get ground beef with typical burger fixings the chacarero is a good example of a Chilean specialty: thin slices of grilled beef with avocado, tomatoes, mayo and blanched and dressed string beans. The string bean can be replaced with sauerkraut to make it a churrasco completo. A complete unique experience.
With the new management has come the addition of a Brazilian buffet from which you serve your self and pay $3.75 per pound.
