Franky & Johnny's Description:
Franky & Johnny's is one of those neighborhood restaurants that has been around forever, and will probably still be here when everything around it is long gone. Fried seafood is the house specialty, featuring generously stuffed deep-fried shrimp on crispy French bread. Boiled seafood selections are deeply seasoned with Creole spices. The few pasta dishes are not quite up to par, but there are many other items to make up for them. We recommend the stuffed artichoke appetizer, the traditional muffaletta, the chicken Parmesan, and especially the huge seafood platter with its shrimp, catfish, oysters and a stuffed crab. Be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes or so for a table at the dinner hour.
