The drinks and ambience are the primary draws at this Warehouse District tavern, which can definitely have its moments during the bustling after-work cocktail scene or late at night when its full service kitchen can prove providential to hunger drinkers. Po' boy sandwiches, especially with shrimp, are a safe bet. The home-style main courses (red beans, baked macaroni, fried shrimp) provide sustenance mostly for the bar patrons. Most of the other options are uninspired renditions of such all-American dishes as chicken-fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried fish with french fries. Service is adequate at best.
