Mccormick & Schmick's Seafood Description:
There's an unexpected touch at this polished, savvy fish house located inside Harrah's Atlantic City, and that's the focus on locally caught seafood. There's an entire section of the menu devoted to "Jersey Shore Favorites" such as linguine with clam sauce and a captain's fried platter. Although McCormick & Schmick's doesn't trade on haute cuisine, count on it for reliable and sophisticated preparations alongside the crowd pleasers such as calamari with dipping sauce and Maryland crab cakes. Delicacy and restraint are evident whether it's in the miso-marinated Chilean sea bass or the Cape Hatteras blue fish served with herbed roasted tomatoes. The oyster bar is impressive with samplings from every notable oyster bed known to man. There are small plate options and although not known for steaks, the kitchen can serve up a mean cowboy rib-eye. The wine list is interesting and affordable; the bar scene lively. Desserts---especially the Key lime pie---satisfy a sweet tooth but there's not much more to say about them. Service is professional, efficient and friendly without being intrusive.
