The Waterfront Buffet is a worthy update of a casino favorite---the cheap buffet. For about $30, you can eat until your buttons pop at a host of cooking stations offering everything from Mongolian barbecue to Southern fried chicken. The food is fresh and fresh cooked. The usual strategy is to head for the "Down the Shore Coastal Cuisine" station to load up on u-peel shrimp, steamed crab legs from hot buttered kettles, and griddled crab cakes. Then walk around to select salads, sushi, dim sum, pastas, rodizio, steaks, stir-fries---and all the side dishes traditionally served with them. An attentive staff brings beverages, alcoholic and non-. The dessert bar goes on forever, and most notably there is a large selection of no-sugar treats.
