Library Restaurant Description:
Trini Lopez, a chilled martini, cushy leather chairs and dark wood are just the beginning to a traditional steakhouse experience that has become hip and retro. Romance begins in the lounge or in the dark dining room with its hidden tables. Try a martini made with one of 100-plus vodkas. The décor might be a bit dated, but it's good for family gatherings and steak lovers will enjoy the filet mignon in two sizes with a house-made steak sauce or a traditional béarnaise. Fish is also on the menu with a grilled salmon in beurre blanc. The lump crab meat cocktail is a simple toss of chilled crab with a tangy mustard sauce. There's Kobe steak, but a better option is the cowboy cut with 24 ounces of marbled, intense flavor. Sides include a huge salted baked potato, creamed corn made with corn fresh from the cob and nutty mashed cauliflower. Chocolate mousse is a must, a classic end to a comforting, familiar meal.
