Brazo Restaurant Description:
Bright, hip and oozing Latin American heat from the décor to the dish, Brazo is filled with the thrum of salsa music and the tinkling of glasses filled with the national drink of Brazil, the potent caipirinha. The décor is modern and bright, a welcome alternative to more austere New England ambience found throughout the Seacoast. The dishes are a change of pace as well with Yucatan-style fish tacos, the native cod marinated with hot cayenne, citrus and cilantro and tossed in a garlic crema, or blue crab sandwiched between rounds of crisp and salty mashed plantain. There's a tapas appetizer to share or paella for two made with local shellfish and sausage and a coffee-rubbed lamb loin, tender and smoky. Churrasco Brazo is tender and vibrant with a garlicky chimichurri sauce. Save room for a chocolate tart with a big kick of habanero, not for the faint of heart, but definitely worth the burn.
