AltaMar Description:
The owners of AltaMar have moved the restaurant to a larger location just slightly east on Lincoln Road, and also changed the eatery's monicker just slightly to AltaMare. New executive chef Simon Stojanovic has altered the menu enough that the veteran fish house really does seem like a new restaurant. Creative, contemporary dishes are local ingredient-oriented, like pompano with Swank Farms baby leeks, baby bok choy, asparagus and citrus vinaigrette. For dessert, try the chocolate semifreddo with salted caramel sauce.
