Old-world ambience and dim lighting make Paulette's a good place for both entertaining out-of-town guests and impressing a date. Fresh flowers and wooden beams add a French country feel. The menu features such classics as Sicilian chicken and the richly sauced filet Paulette. But over the years, modern dishes such as pan-roasted halibut and Louisiana crab cakes have been added to the menu. The popovers and desserts are justly well known. Though the prices are on par with most fine dining establishments in Memphis, Paulette's offers early dinner specials daily, and an affordable Lobster Night every Friday.
