Le's Vietnamese Cuisine Description:
Formerly known as Pho Pasteur, the only change in this restaurant appears to be the name. The menu and decor have stayed the same, and a "Pho Pasteur" neon sign remained in the window months after the change.
Though the menu is extensive, the Allston branch of this local Vietnamese chain, formerly known as Pho Pasteur, still specializes in huge bowls of noodle soup in all sorts of permutations. Salads, stir-fries and bun, or vermicelli-based dishes, round out the options---all of which are comforting and relatively healthy, if Americanized spice-wise. Siblings in Harvard Square, Chestnut Hill and Needham also bring in students, worker bees and others strapped for time and cash.
