Welsh Ryan Arena / McGaw Hall Description:

Parking:

Welsh-Ryan Arena is located just north of Ryan Field, which is located at the crossroads of Ashland Avenue (N/S) and Central Street (E/W) in Evanston. Parking for basketball is available in either lot adjacent to Ryan Field, on the east side of the stadium or on the other side of Ashland Avenue, just west of Ryan Field. There is a fee for parking at Welsh Ryan Arena. Please contact the Ticket Office for more information.

General Rules:

Cameras and recording devices are not allowed. Bottle, cans, coolers and alcoholic beverages are prohibited.



Driving direction to Welsh Ryan Arena / McGaw Hall:
From the North:
Take I-94 south and exit on Old Orchard Road. Go east to Gross Point Road and turn left. Turn right on Central Street and go east roughly two miles. You will see Ryan Field on your left. Park in either lot adjacent to Ryan Field, and Welsh-Ryan Arena is just north of Ryan Field.

From the Western Suburbs:
Take I-90 east to I-294 north. Exit on Dempster Street East and take Dempster Street to first stop light, which is Potter Road. Turn left (north) on Potter Road. Turn right (east) onto Golf Road and follow Golf east to Gross Point Road. Turn left on Gross Point Road, then turn right onto Central Street. Follow Central Street east for roughly two miles. You will see Ryan Field on your left. Park in either lot adjacent to Ryan Field, and Welsh-Ryan Arena is just north of Ryan Field.

From the South:
Take Lake Shore Drive north to Sheridan Road. Continue north on Sheridan Road until you pass the Evanston Campus buildings. Turn left (west) on Central Street and follow this to the stadium, which will be on the right. Park in either lot adjacent to Ryan Field and Welsh-Ryan Arena is just north of Ryan Field. Or, take I-94 north and exit on Old Orchard Road. Go east on Old Orchard Road to Gross Point Road. Turn left on Gross Point Road, and then turn right (east) on Central Street. Follow Central Street east for roughly two miles. You will see Ryan Field on your left. Park in either lot adjacent to Ryan Field, and Welsh-Ryan Arena is just north of Ryan Field.
