NIT NOI THAI IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED Minimalist décor is married with soothing mood music at Nit Noi Thai (this enhances the dining experience, but some serious acoustics problems in the cavernous area tend to overpower it due to constant crowds). Select from the list of house specialties starting with an appetizer of Thai dumplings; rice tarts filled with mushrooms, vegetables and pork and served with ginger sauce; or crispy sea rolls that you create yourself with cool lettuce leaves, bean sprouts, cilantro and a fiery special house sauce. From there, move on to stir-fried chicken, beef or pork, with roasted red peppers; shrimp or squid---or both---in a hot, spicy curry sauce; crispy red snapper topped with triple-flavor sauce; or stir-fried mussels in a chili sauce with garlic and sweet basil. Try Alice's chicken and Shrimp Delight, both herb-marinated, grilled and served on brown rice; or the King and I, steamed snapper topped with a slightly sweet tomato and garlic sauce served on a bed of jasmine-crab meat rice.
