Cravings Description:
People-watching may be a better bet than dining at this Sunset Strip sidewalk restaurant. Some dishes are fine---the massive artichoke appetizer is undeniably a winner, as is a small calamari salad---but not much care seems to go into many of the dishes here, and the service can come off as indifferent, too, unless you're a regular. Sautéed shrimp in garlic and white wine are decently prepared, but plated without imagination. And don't look to the list of "specials" for variety or exciting alternatives as they don't seem to change often. The unimpressive wine list is matched by inexpensive stemware inappropriate for the prices charged.
