This handsome restaurant in the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six is a big regional draw. Stunning views of the harbor, which seems to practically breed yachts as you watch, are just one reason for the return of affection to this Fort Lauderdale classic venue. One side of the menu offers traditional steak house cuts of beef and lamb, along with classic à la carte sides ranging from Lyonnaise potatoes to a nicely-blended creamed spinach. The other side offers the chefs' daily specials, more creative endeavors that showcase regional fishes and fruits with dishes such as tempura Gulf shrimp with blue crab meat and mango-Scotch bonnet vinaigrette. European influences also come into play with a variety of pastas, veal dishes and occasionally a phenomenal steak frites. Ever-changing desserts usually include a flavor of cheesecake and a type of seasonal fruit crisp, and a very reasonably priced wine list allows you some extra indulgence.
