Palm Court At Trade Winds Description:
The Palm Court is just one restaurant at this sprawling, 16-acre Gulf-front resort, but its menu strives to stand out. Appetizers that do the trick include seared tuna or escargots, and especially the Italian bread with a tomato-oil dip. Along with boasting it has the largest wine list on the Gulf-front beaches, the Palm Court's entrées also can be creative. In addition to the standards---grouper (when in season), bacon-wrapped scallops and Florida bouillabaisse---there is a roast lamb, grilled beef tenderloin, duck and chicken. Good pasta entrées also abound. Lunch is a bit less serious, but no less tasty. It often includes fried calamari, salads, pizza, hamburgers and sandwiches. But don't let the food steal all your attention. Be sure to stroll around the grounds. There are even paddle boats for the winding on-site canals.
