Mad Greek Restaurant Description:
The Mad Greek---owing to the split personality of the Greek and Indian menu---looks more Greek than anything inside, with blue-green floor tiles and white stucco walls. The list of appetizers makes it a favorite for small plates. Try the hummus, saganaki flamed tableside and sweet, crisp calamari with lime-scented aïoli. Full plates also are available. But it's really the moussaka in béchamel sauce and alu ghobi, wok-fried cauliflower, peas and potatoes seasoned with cilantro and spices, that we can't pass up. At the end of the meal, savor stiff Greek coffee or try one of the desserts, which run from baklava to cheesecake.
