This large and sunny eatery, overlooking the historic Shaker Square shopping and dining district, has been a power-breakfast, corporate quick-lunch and family dinner spot for about ten years (though the chain's original location has been around for more than 20). Service is first-name-basis friendly, the menu (which features several low-fat/low-cholesterol choices) covers all the bases, and the food---simply prepared and served up in heaping portions---is tasty. For breakfast, how about the heart-healthy Buenos Huevos omelet? There's a long sandwich menu at lunch, but go for any of the Angus beef burgers. At dinner, best bets are the ten-ounce strip steak and the grilled salmon, which come with salad and crispy cottage fries.
